- Abstract: In this paper we present a brief overview of Special and Inclusive Education in Brazil in the light of its laws, guidelines and resolutions, seeking to show mainly a little of the difficulty of including people with disabilities in the school system. Presenting the advancement of public policies and the trajectory followed by the struggle for inclusion of people with disabilities in search of an equal and accessible education for all.
