- Abstract: Proper selection of Six Sigma projects (SSP) is crucial to project success over the long term. Having a strategy to not only select SSP, but also to prioritize tasks, can help things run smoothly and mitigate possible frustration. Project portfolio management theory can be useful for project prioritization, performance monitoring, risk management, resource allocation, and portfolio balancing. Six Sigma project portfolio management is a framework that can be applied to achieve the best possible results with any SSP.
