- Abstract: O objetivo deste trabalho é duplo: fornecer uma introdução paraos leitores que não estão familiarizados com a teoria algébrica das formas quadráticas sobre corpos (TAFQ) e, na sequência, com o referente construído na TAFQ, introduzir a teoria algébrica de formas hermitianas com coeficientesem álgebras associativas munidas de uma involução (TAFH).
