- Abstract: Objetivo: The liver plays a central role in lipid metabolism. The hepatic pool of triacylglycerol (TAG) represents the main source for VLDL assembly and secretion. Our aim was to verify the effect of exercise upon fatty acid partitioning in theliver.@Métodos e Resultados: Male Wistar rats (250-300g) were divided in (C) control group (C) and (SB0) killed immediatelly after the exercise bout (65% Vo2max -1 hour - treadmill). The biochemical determinations were carried as described inBiochem. Mol. Biol. Int. 39 (5):1037-47, 1996 and Biochem.
