- Abstract: This paper aims to investigate the relation between companies certified in integrated management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 16001, OHSAS 18000 and SA 8000 (with social and environmental investments) and companies certified in management systems ISO 9001 through the application of the statistical technique of logistic regression. To achieve this goal, the execution of empirical-analytic approach was conducted. We analyzed data on the performance indicators published in the guide of the best and biggest Exam Magazine in 2011 and made the crossing with certified companies and social-environmental investments. The sample comprised 194 companies among the 250 largest companies by revenue in 2011 and published complete with indicators and eligible by guide Exam. For the treatment of the data was used SPSS ® software (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 19.0, applying logistic regression. According to the results, we can conclude that there is a relationship between companies certified ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO16001, OHSAS18000 and SA8000 (with social and environmental investments) in the organizational performance, demonstrating that corporate investment held and recorded in the social, environmental and economic, based on Triple-Bottom Line, is an indication of real commitment to sustainability. As for the variables used, the indicators of net sales, current liquidity and wealth created, are the best proxies to explain this relationship, ie, the results suggest that firms certified in integrated management systems with social and environmental investments, is more likely to have better performance in business
