- Abstract: O desenvolvimento pré-natal dos dentes jugais de coelho foi estudado histológicamente, fêmeas com 15 à 30 dias de gestação foram sacrificadas e seus fetos foram coletados e decaptados. As cabeças foram fixadas em formalina e incluídas em parafina. Foram estudadas secção de 7µ, submatidas à coloração por HE. Os primeiros germes dentais a serem observados foram M3 e M3 no animal de 16 dias. Aos 17 dias, os M4 e M4 foram observados no estágio de botão. Os últimos dentes a iniciarem o desenvolvimento no feto do coelho foram os M3 e M3 aos 30 dias, considerando o último dia de gestação.
