- Resumo: Apresenta medidas de resistência à fratura de restaurações de amálgama com características morfológicas similares àquelas encontradas na prática, tendo sido as restaurações feitas em quatro preparos cavitários tipo M.O.D., com áreas de superfície diferentes, aplicando-se cargas axiais de compressão em pontos determinados da face oclusal das restaurações com idades de 1, 24 e 168 horas, através de uma esfera de aço, até se promover a fratura das mesmas.
